Meet the Troupe


David Marino

David Marino

David Marino has worked in the museum industry for over 12 years, starting at Boston Children's Museum as Manager of the Visitors Center, and more recently as Project Manager at The Broad Institute Museum in Cambridge, MA.  He developed a theater-based customer service technique that is used as a template for visitor service practices at museums around the world.  David teaches improv theater at ImprovBoston, where he has produced, among other shows, Agent Spy, Pirate Lives, and Groaners and Boners: Shtick It To Vaudeville, which became the inspiration for Groaners for Donors.



David Fisher

David Fisher

David Fisher is a data specialist for PAREXEL International, a pharmaceutical testing company in Waltham, MA.  He is also experienced in the Eastern Massachusettes theater circuit as an actor, improvisor, and set designer and builder.  Production credits have included acting in Lonely Planet, The Nerd, Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged), and The Underpants.  He has performed at ImprovBoston in several shows, including Quest, Action Comix!, Luv Boat, Pirate Lives, and Groaners and Boners.  He has worked with several children's theaters in the Metrowest area and continues to teach improvisation to numerous theater groups.



Sasha Goldberg

Sasha Goldberg

Sasha Goldberg has been teaching and performing with ImprovBoston since 2004. Some of her show credits include Micetro, Theatersports, Backstory, The Robert Cycle, Pirate Lives, the Bluescreen revival, and The ImprovBoston Mainstage. You can currently see her performing with Rondo on Friday nights at ImprovBoston. Sasha is a freelance video editor.



Jeremiah Jordan

Hannah Foell

Hannah Foell manages indie video store, Hollywood Express. She has performed with various ImprovBoston casts for the last three years. She is a founding member of Martin French Presents and sketch troupe, The Dowry. Hannah was also in ImprovBoston Showcase Shows Henchmen and Ocean's 2. She currently performs with ImprovBoston Harold team, Marjean on Friday nights and produces and hosts Rock Band Night, every month at ImprovBoston.



Marc Hirsh

Marc Hirsh

Marc Hirsh has been performing with Groaners For Donors since 2006. He has been with ImprovBoston since 2001 as a member of the Family Show, Micetro, TheatreSports, UnNatural Selection, and Comedy in the Round casts. Other ImprovBoston shows include Radio Hour and the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009 Halloween GoreFest shows. He has also been in Flanagan's Wake and a number of Mystery Café shows. He is a veteran of ComedySportz Indianapolis, ComedySportz Houston, Auckland University TheatreSports, the Auckland University Comedy Guild, and the Brat Pack. Marc is a music and pop culture writer for the Boston Globe, NPR, MSNBC, and the Washington City Paper.



Jeremiah Jordan

Jeremiah Jordan

Jeremiah is the owner of Clyde Media Productions, a video production and editing company. While living in Los Angeles, he worked on tv shows and films, including ‘The O.C.’, ‘Bones’, ‘Without A Trace’, ‘High School Musical’, ‘Glory Road’, and others. He is the producer and editor of the feature film ‘Joshua’, which is available on Netflix and in Blockbuster. Jeremiah has been performing improv for 14 years with ImprovBoston, IO West, ComedySportz and more – having trained with Del Close and many other great teachers along the way. Jeremiah moved to the Boston area about 3 years ago with his wife, Jennie, and their dog, Clyde.



John Serpico

John Serpico

John Serpico has worked in accounting services for over three years, spending time in the financial services, lending and institutional investing fields.  John has performed comedy across New England, and is a proud member of ImprovBoston where he was a part of the original casts of Groaners and Boners: Shtick It To Vaudeville, UnAuthorized Biography, In The Garage, and The Robert Cycle as well as the revivals of Quest and Blue Screen.   He is currently performing on Friday nights as part of ImprovBoston's TheatreSports troupe.



Adam

Adam "Burch" Simon

Burch is an Internet Engineer at the well known Anonymous Financial Services Company in Boston, MA. Burch has performed with Improv Boston's House Troupe "Rebels Without Applauze" and Boston University's Liquid Fun. Burch has taught improv at organizational retreats, as well as several schools in Hawaii. Burch currently directs Improv Boston's House Troupes "ManProv!" and "Unexpected Turbulence" as well as produces and hosts the Improv Boston "NightCap" show. Burch can be seen performing with Improv Jones Boston and Generation "Why?"
